A Design of the LIS Interface for the Hospital Computerization

Abstract

|
This paper describes a design of the LIS interface for the computerization of the data which is genarated from the three clinical laboratory systems. The interfacer to manage the information efficiently consists of the one chip microcomputer(80C31) and peripherals for data transmission between the clinical laboratory analyzer-chemical analyzer, hematology analyzer, ect., -and the main computer system. The received data were filed to construct the data base. The hardware performance was tested by the diaplay of the received data on the video termanal of main computer by menu-driven management program and find the good concidence between the transmitted data and the received data.
